Welcome to Giant City School! This is going to be a fantastic school year. We have many new staff members this and we are very excited to start the year! You will have the opportunity to receive an excellent education and to participate in many extra-curricular activities and programs. I expect to have an amazing school year with you and your family! Your teachers and I will work with you to help you become a prepared citizen, ready for high school and beyond. In return, we ask that you take your education seriously, behave in a manner that is expected of you, and make a sincere effort in all of your school activities. In addition, please remember the importance of being friendly and courteous to all students and staff members.

The purpose of this handbook is to ensure that you know and understand the policies, procedures and regulations that are necessary to promote the best educational setting possible. You must become familiar with the information presented in this handbook, as it is your responsibility to follow the guidelines that are established. These guidelines will be enforced with consistency.

Please remember that you have the privilege of determining your level of success and enjoyment at Giant City School. Your attitude, your behavior, your effort, your interests, and your involvement will determine your success. Strive to make wise choices, and always try to do your very best!
